For readers

Read What We Didn’t Get? Tell the next reader.

A few honest sentences from you does more for this book than any ad. Reviews are how parents, teachers and book clubs decide whether a book is for them, and stores show a book to more shoppers once it has them. Short is fine. Honest is what matters, whatever you thought of it.

Bought it on Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble or Bookshop.org? Open the book in that store and look for “Write a review” below the description. A star rating alone helps too.

Not sure what to write?

Answer one of these in a sentence or two:

  • Who should read it? A parent, a teacher, a nurse, a counselor, someone breaking a cycle in their family?
  • Which chapter, idea or stage stayed with you, and why?
  • Did it change how you see your own childhood, your students or your community?
