Privacy Policy

Information you provide. When you fill out a contact, service inquiry, workshop, or speaker-booking form, or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the details you submit — such as your name, email address, organization, and the contents of your message or request. If you purchase a book, checkout and payment information is collected and processed by our payment provider.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring pages, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

• To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
• To process and fulfill book orders;
• To send you our newsletter, if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our programs;
• To comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse or fraud.

We use Google Analytics to measure and improve Site performance. Google Analytics sets cookies that help us understand aggregate usage. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics — website usage analytics;
• EmailJS — delivery of form submissions to us by email;
• Supabase — secure storage of form submissions;
• PayPal — payment processing for book purchases. Payment details are entered on PayPal’s own systems; we receive only the transaction result, the payer name and email, and the shipping address needed to fulfil your order;
• Stripe — card payment processing for book purchases. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own hosted payment page, never on this site; we receive only the transaction result and the amount paid;
• GoFundMe — donation widget embedded on some pages.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above so they can perform services on our behalf, or when required by law or to protect our rights.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided to us by emailing educator@shrewdwit.org. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
